Welcome...

...to the Kildare Area of the Irish Red Cross!

We are delighted to welcome members and friends to our site.

The Kildare Area of the Irish Red Cross is a vibrant and busy group. We have a membership of almost 100, growing all the time.

Members range from our First Aiders who have the opportunity to train all the way to the Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) internationally recognised EMT qualification, to our community services volunteers who provide Therapeutic Handcare and other services.

New members can get involved here. We welcome people from all backgrounds, no previous training or experience is necessary.

There are 4 active branches in the Kildare Area - Clane, Newbridge, Kildare Town and NUI Maynooth. All are active in training and attendance at a range of events stretching across the county and beyond.

The Kildare Area branches frequently collaborates on large duties and events.

The Society provides top-quality training and plenty of opportunities for experience! Membership allows the society to harness the many and varied skills of our members, while allowing our members the opportunity to increase their skills, gain valuable qualifications, get involved in their local community and make life-long friends in doing so!

I am proud to be a volunteer with the Red Cross for the past 20 years. The rewarding nature of our work is an experience that I would be delighted for you to share as a fellow member, so, in the words of the Irish Red Cross 'Save a Life - Change a Life'!
